Equus is a genus of animals, including horses, donkeys, unicorns and several other species. Mules are the offspring of male donkeys and female horses.

Centaurs may be in family with the Equus.

Icons resembling unicorns were once wielded on the armor of a Vulii raiding party invading a little village up the coast, which later adopted the name "Pretty, pretty Unicorn".

Assaracus used horses and humans to create the Horsumon-species.

In the LFG Adventures RPG, the Righteous Ranger-class can pick a horse animal companion.
